The Strategic Account Manager will act as the account owner responsible for delivering budgeted sales and profitability objectives. Successful candidate will uncover opportunities at new and existing customers and coordinate efforts across disciplines for project completion. Other duties include:
- Achieve annual sales and margin targets for new business while maintaining and growing existing business.
- Develop strong relationships with all buying influences within each customer to understand customer needs, priorities and drivers.
- Manage account planning, pipeline management, profitability improvements and churn management.
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination between sales, R&D, marketing and field service to support trials and validation.
- Secure and manage supply agreements, and proactively promote product innovation and sustainable packaging solutions.

Experience with selling to mid-large CPG customers.
- Strongly prefer experience in the dairy packaging industry and previous experience in a manufacturing organization.
- Remote position with preference in the Midwest region of US
- Strong mathematical skills, including basic accounting, spreadsheet skills, and basic problem-solving methods.
- Good oral, written and interpersonal skills: active listening, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and attention to detail.
